50 Cent lost a lot of weight to get in shape and denied any use of Ozempic during his health maintenance journey.

On Wednesday, January 24, 2024, the Just A Lil Bit rapper took to his official Instagram account to post a a video in which he shut down all rumors about his slim physique being a result of him taking Ozempic.

“Everybody talking about weight loss. I was in the gym. I was working the f— out, man. Who says Ozempic? I was running. I was running, I was doing what I had to do,” the 48-year-old artist insisted.


Reflecting on his weight loss, he continued, “You seen me on tour. I was running around. I was 253 lbs., I came down and I’m 210 right now. Oww, so how you feel about it?”

In an interview to Men’s Health, back in August 2023, 50 Cent revealed that his inspiration to get fit came from a very unlikely place, the attempt on his life. “I’m … working out to get myself stronger, ’cause who’s to say you’re not gonna get hit again?” the rapper told the outlet.

After being shot nine times back in 2000, the rapper returned with a well-defined physique that he almost seemed like a superhuman. But he could not help it as he compared himself to another shirtless performer, D’Angelo, who showed of his body in the video of (Untitled) How Does It Feel.

“I’m like, ‘Wait, what’s that?! Oh, nah, that’s important!’” he said.

So 50 Cent started to hit the gym which became such an important part of his life that he incorporated it into his music video for In Da Club.

The rapper continued saying, “I put the gym in the middle of the video because, to me, that’s where I looked the coolest. That’s where I learned strong is not all muscle; it’s about being mentally and physically strong.”
