Jacob Elordi has delighted fans as he playfully took a substantial sniff of a namesake bathtub water candle. Inspired by a memorable scene from Saltburn.

While making a guest appearance on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Kissing Booth star was queried by the 49-year-old host about his awareness of the scented candles inspired by the provocative bathtub scene in the black comedy psychological thriller Saltburn.

“Yes, Cailee, my co-star from Priscilla actually sent me the videos of people doing this,” Jacob pointed out Cailee Spaeny, 26, who portrayed Priscilla Presley alongside him in Priscilla.

“I want to know who's making the money?” Jacob chuckled.

“You're like, ‘I must be rich’,” Jimmy said.

“My first thing was like, ‘Great, where's my money?’,” the 26-year-old actor stated.

Jimmy presented one of the candles to Jacob, inviting him to experience the fragrance of his own “Jacob Elordi's Bathwater” candle.

The Australlian actor enthusiastically took a deep sniff, going so far as to place his mouth into the candle jar to fully savour its essence.

Jimmy asked, “'How does it smell? Does it smell anything like you?”

The Priscilla star referring the smell of candles “like a washing room. Like detergent.”

“That's not bad, yeah you have a good scent to you. You smell very clean,”the host said.

Jacob added, “'His clothes are clean.”

“Yeah, I guess it's not bad, yeah. I like it,” Jimmy quipped.

Saltburn made its debut in August during the 50th Telluride Film Festival and subsequently hit theatres in both the UK and the US in November.

The film found its way to Amazon Prime Video for streaming on December 22, garnering widespread acclaim from critics. 

Jacob Elordi appeared on the NBC talk show to discuss his upcoming hosting role on Saturday Night Live this weekend.
