Joey King has reacted to Jacob Elordi’s controversial remarks about The Kissing Booth films.

As per Variety, during the Balenciaga fashion show in Los Angeles on Saturday, King shared her thoughts on the Euphoria actor's remarks, saying, "I think it’s unfortunate anyone would feel that way."

"I had a great time making those movies no matter what anyone says," added The Act star, while reflecting on the fact that she had a great time doing those movies, no matter what.

This remarks of King came shortly after  Jacob Elordi's interview with GQ’S Men,  where he made headlines with his controversial remarks about  The Kissing Booth movies.

The Euphoria actor said, "I didn’t want to make those movies before I made those movies."

Elordi further added about the movies in which he acted from 2018 to 2021, "Those movies are ridiculous, they’re not universal, they’re an escape,"

Joey King and Jacob Elordi also started dating on the set of their movie The Kissing Booth in January 2017.

Later on, The In Between actress announced that they have broke up in November 2018.

The Kissing Booth was a teenage romantic comedy that premiered on Netflix in 2018, having three sequels.

The movie was adapted from Beth Reekles’ 2012 young adult novel of the same name.

The film features Joey King in the lead character, a high school junior, who embarks on a hidden romance with her best friend's older brother.

Alongside Joey King, the film star-studded cast included Jacob Elordi, Joel Courtney and Taylor Zakhar Perez who was in the second and third installments of the movie.
