Selena Gomez  has  reacted to memes fest after her reaction on Chris Brown's VMAs nomination went viral.

In a now-viral video, the Calm Down hit maker  was seen sneering when Brown was nominated for How Does It Feel, for his collaboration with Chlöe. 

Gomez’s face shifted from a neutrally pleasant smile to a sneer the moment Brown's name was announced, however The Moon Man award was eventually went to SZA for Shirt.

Soon after her reaction went viral, it ignited a meme fest on X previously Twitter with many fans applauding the singer for being a "real queen" and  resonated with her feelings.

While some fans also dragged her for pouting on someone else's achievement, as she was seemingly expecting SZA to win.

However, the memes flood seemingly did not sit well with the Only Murders in the Building actress as she took to Instagram account to express how she felt after becoming a subject of meme yet again.

"I will never be a meme again. I'd rather sit still than be dragged for being myself. Much love," wrote  the Wolves actress referring to her candid reaction on Under The Influence crooner's nominations announcement.

This post comes shortly after the Love You Like A Love Song songstress thanked her fans after winning the VMAs for Best Afrobeats video for their massive hit party anthem Calm Down.

On Tuesday, the Disney star shared a carousel of images with the Nigerian rapper along with a caption that read, “Thank you SO much for voting! We are so grateful! @gettyentertainment and @vmas.” 

Meanwhile, the 31-year-old rapper became the highlight of the event with her longtime bestie Taylor Swift, who swept the 2023 VMAs with 9 wins, dethroning the legendary singer Madonna.
