Halsey has opened up about a recent health scare, confessing that she feels 'lucky to be alive' after receiving a life-changing diagnosis, as she unveiled the first single The End from the upcoming album.
The Closer singer took to her Instagram account on Tuesday to share an update with her fans that she is battling with an unidentified disease.
Halsey dropped a series of snaps and snippets from the hospital, and noted the caption, “Long story short, I’m Lucky to be alive. Short story long, I wrote an album.”
However, she didn't identify the health conditions she's dealing with, but the Without Me mentioned the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Society and the Lupus Research Alliance in the caption.
The shared series included pictures and videos, featuring a snippet of her sobbing and saying, “I feel like an old lady. I told myself I'm giving myself two more years to be sick. By 30 I'm having a rebirth, and I'm not gonna be sick, and I'm gonna look super hot and have lots of energy and I'm just gonna re-do my 20s in my 30s. Seriously."
