Prince Harry leaves Kate Middleton in tears with warm gesture

Kate Middleton was unable to restrain her tears during Prince Harry's deeply moving speech at her marriage to Prince William, his brother.

Prince Harry delivered a speech that deeply moved Princess Kate and brought her to tears following her wedding to Prince William, as suggested by a royal biographer.

After officially becoming part of the royal family, she, having joined the Firm, listened to her new brother-in-law address the gathering.

This momentous occasion occurred after the wedding party enjoyed a three-course meal on April 29, 2011, following Kate's earlier marriage to Prince William at Westminster Abbey, marked by enthusiastic crowds celebrating the couple's special day.

Despite the grandeur and formality surrounding this royal event, author Katie Nicholl asserts that Prince Harry managed to inject a touch of authenticity and emotion into the proceedings.

In her book Harry: Life, Loss, and Love she wrote about his speech, "It was loving, warm and funny and touched Kate deeply. The speech was peppered with Harry's classic sense of humour, and he joked with his brother, 'William didn't have a shred of romance before he met Kate'."

The Duke of Sussex's words are said to have been so powerful that they elicited tears from Kate, who is now the Princess of Wales.

Nevertheless, in a rather contentious disclosure, Harry alleged that the Royal Family provided false information regarding his role as the best man at his older brother's wedding in his memoir.

He asserted, "The public had been told that I was to be best man, but that was a bare-faced lie. The public expected me to be best man, and thus the Palace saw no choice but to say that I was."

Prince William reportedly selected two close friends, James Meade and Thomas Van Straubenzee, to serve as his best men for the occasion.
