Kate Middleton fuels royal fans' hype over next tiara moment

Kate Middleton is gearing up for her highly anticipated tiara moment, and the royal enthusiasts are speculating about what sparkler she might adorn this coming fall.

As the Princess of Wales continues to captivate the world with her grace and style, rumors have begun to swirl about a potential tiara appearance on a special occasion.

On Tuesday, Buckingham Palace made an early announcement stating that King Charles and Queen Camilla are set to host South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol during a state visit to the U.K. in November.

Although specific details and the exact date have not been disclosed, it's probable that this official visit will encompass a state banquet, potentially featuring the wearing of tiaras!

The statement said, “The President of the Republic of Korea, His Excellency Yoon Suk Yeol, accompanied by Mrs Kim Keon Hee, has accepted an invitation from His Majesty The King to pay a State Visit to the United Kingdom in November.”

It further stated, “The King and Queen will host the State Visit at Buckingham Palace.”

The Royal website continued, “Usually on the evening of the arrival day, the visitors will be hosted at a State Banquet, which is a very grand formal occasion held in the Buckingham Palace Ballroom. Around 150 guests are usually invited on the basis of their cultural, diplomatic or economic links to the country being hosted.”

Historically, grand occasions have traditionally called for a white-tie dress code, which includes the wearing of tiaras by female members of the royal family who are in attendance.

In November 2022, during the inaugural state visit of King Charles' reign, Princess Kate and Queen Camilla both adorned these splendid headpieces for the state banquet, which welcomed South African President Cyril Ramaphosa to the United Kingdom.

This event also marked the first public appearance of Kate and Camilla wearing tiaras in three years, as the COVID-19 pandemic had led to a hiatus in state visits by the British royal family since the visit of then-U.S. President Donald Trump to the U.K. in 2019.

More recently, Princess Kate graced a tiara once again, this time at the feast following the royal wedding of Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa of Jordan in June.
