Usher has finally spoken up about the infamous Keke Palmer dress controversy which was sparked last month, after her boyfriend Darius Jackson publicly called her out.

During his latest conversation with PEOPLE, the My Boo singer opened up about Palmer’s boyfriend’s tweet in which Darius bashed his lady love, who wore a racy see-through dress at Usher’s concert.

“I think everybody's vision or a version of what they felt happened there just leads you back to just really having a good time in Las Vegas,” said the Yeah! hit-maker.

He further continued, “and that's what I hope came out of it. Rather, it was a conversation of what was going on with us having fun in front of the audience or conversation about that song.”

Usher also admitted, “every night I'm thinking about how the world now is going to react to this moment that I'll have with whoever I'm choosing to sing to. But it was a pop moment, and it was fun to have at least conversation going and we just keep it light.”

“I don't see anything negative happening in Las Vegas,” added the OMG singer.

In July, Darius shared a video of Palmer from Usher’s concert where she wore a sexy black dress, which did not sit well with the social media personality.

“It's the outfit tho… you a mom,” tweeted Darius at that time alongside the video in which Usher was serenading to Palmer and she was shaking a leg on his song.

In another tweet Darius also noted, “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is.”

Soon after his comments went viral, they created a buzz on Twitter, where Palmer fans criticized Darius for his rather conservative remarks.
