NFL player Travis Kelce has faced disappointment when he tried to shoot his shot with Taylor Swift at her Eras Tour concert earlier this month.

The Kansas City Chief's player, has recalled the disappointing yet hilarious story of not being able to present a friendship bracelet to the Love Story songstress.

During Wednesday's episode New Heights podcast, co-hosted by his brother Jason Kelce, the 33-year-old athlete explained why he returned "butt-hurt" after attending Swift's concert.

"I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," Travis began telling.

"So I was a little butt-hurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her," he added.

Kelce also explained to his brother about the bracelet trend, where Swifties exchange colorful friendship bracelets with each other during the shows.

"If you're up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets. I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it," Kelce told his brother, who is also a NFL player for Philadelphia Eagles.

"Your number as in #87, or your phone number?" asked Jason, referring to his brother's jersey number.

"You know which one," Kelce quickly responded.

However, Kelce's plan did not go successful because of the no meet and greet policy by the Midnights hitmaker.

"She doesn't meet anybody or at least she didn't want to meet me, so I took it personal," said Kelce.

Soon after the video clip of the podcast went viral, swifties flocked to the comment section to express their first hand reaction over the situation.
