BTS icon V is reportedly in talks to release his first solo album this year.

On July 20, Soompi reported that the 27-year-old singer has been working on a solo debut album since last year, and it will be released in the third quarter of 2023.

On the other hand, BTS agency BIGHIT MUSIC also confirmed the news, saying that the release schedule of the album will be shared soon.

“The [release] schedules of our agency’s artists including V will be revealed once they are confirmed,” the agency stated.

Reacting to the reports, V's fans took to social media to express their excitement, calling him the “final weapon of BTS” as he is the last member to release his solo debut.

One of his fans tweeted: “All love for you Taehyung, the final weapon of BTS, while another one wrote: “taehyung first solo album is predicted to be released in September.”
